Advice needed.. after NDBE- part1

Hello All,
I have a quick question.. do we have to take any clinical exam for US after taking NDBE part1 to get in the US universities.... similar to one we have in Canadian universities? I was thinking to buy dental compressor and some teeth to work on for canada's practical exam.. So would it be helpful for the US exam as well in case I dont make it for the canadian universities.. plz reply as you guys know it much better.. appreciate your reply guys..
