Advice would be greatly appreciated...

I applied for the 2007 cycle and was waitlisted at two schools, but have yet to hear anything. I completely my AMCAS 2008 sent it in and am verified. I have been getting secondaries and such. I am studying to retake the MCAT on August 6, my friends tell me to take it Aug 9th at 1:30 instead of 8am, because there is more flexibility as to when you can come in to take the test.

The last time I took the test, it was on paper, so I don't really fully get the computerized timing. Any advice if 3 days would make a difference on getting the score back earlier or later... I also feel like 1:30 i'll be a bit more awake than 8 am, but I decided on the Aug 6: 8am test, hoping that they would be graded quickly to avoid the huge number of testing dates in August.

Any advice would be great.

I have 3.75, BCPM 3.7, AO 3.81. Previous MCAT was a 28 Q, 11 P 7 V 10 B, I suck at standardized tests.

Thanks for your advice!

The scores for August 6th are released September 5th, while the scores for August 9th are released September 12th. So there's a difference of a week there.
