My UH interview is coming up. Anyone have any useful tips for my interview? Will it be a blind interview like SCO? Also. Does anything have any info on UH and how it stands out among the other schools? Such as SCO has a strong clinical setting and a ton of its students pass the board. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Check the interview sticky, page two. There is one response about UH's interview. It looks like it's closed file. Best of luck!

SCO interview is very formal in my opinion and UHCO is so much more relaxed. I think just be confident and try to make yourself stand out a bit from other applicants. UHCO 09'

the uh interview is killer~ make sure you know your stuff really well!!!
dress to impress and pray that you get in~!!! 😱

Really? Alot of people say that SCO is laid back. I thought it was laid back also since it was closed file. Thanks for the advice guys. Anyone know any useful about their facilites or specialities so that I can wow them with my knowledge? Thanks alot people!

I was a student interviewer at UHCO for a year. It's closed file. UHCO tries to keep things VERY laid back so you'll be yourself. UHCO does have a very strong clinic program and a very high pass rate on boards. (usually over 90%)

Good luck :luck:

Killer ? Who interviewed you ?

As far as dressing goes do make sure you look nice and professional. But, no one's expecting you to wear and Armani suit.
