Advice needed regarding prereqs...

I have 5 prerequisites outstanding, including Anatomy and Physiology 1&2. I was going to take A&P during summer session. Now, I am thinking of waiting to take the course, along with others, in the fall. The college also happens to have a winter session, (6 wks, ending mid Feb) so I can take A&P 2 then. I plan to apply to a bunch of OT programs, but my first choice is SUNY Downstate.

If I delay taking the A&P 1 class until the fall, am I lowering my chances of getting into a program?

Hi! I was in the same boat last year. I ended up taking A&P1 in the fall and A&P2 in the spring (I just finished my class). I got into Downstate. I think they do prefer for your prereqs to be finished but it obviously isn't essential. I'm glad I took A&P slowly because there's a lot to learn and it's really important.
