I requested my Fall 2008 transcript the day after the semester ended in December but my school did not send it out until January. I checked my transcript status every day but Pharmcas never received it. I requested a second transcript and Pharmcas received it within a few days. I applied to several schools with February 1st deadlines. One school has sent an email reiterating that all materials must have been received by February 1st. Should I email the school and explain the situation? I have proof of first transcript request and the date the school mailed it.

what matters is when u clicked submit on academic update and them receiving ur transcript. if they received it before feb 1st then ur ok even if they send your application after feb 1st. this is what was told to me by pharmcas themselves.

I think you should definitely CALL the school to explain the situation.
One of my schools had to send out my transcript 3 times before pharmCAS received it.

Usually the schools start reviewing your application even before receiving the fall transcript, but they do need to review the fall transcript before senting out interview invites. So u should definitely call the schools to make sure if they recieved it.

two ideas pop into my head
did you submit the transcript with the paper than pharmcas makes you print out?

also, did you put your SSN in your pharmcas app? i was waiting for my pcat score to get registered on pharmcas, 3 months later i finally called and my SSN was lacking on my pharmcas. i put it in monday morning and it showed up by the end of the day.
