How many medical schools should I apply to? Would 13 be good or more? Is my list good? I have not taken my MCAT though

I am taking my MCAT in August.

Any advice?

It's really hard to give advice without an MCAT score. Also are you AA? (asking b/c you listed Morehouse, Howard). Would also be useful to know your state of residency as some schools simply do not accept out of state apps.

NJ Yes I am AA.

What was the MCAT score you applied with last year?

I did not take the MCAT because I was not ready.

Any advice based on my GPA?

How did you apply last year without taking the MCAT? Or did you withdraw all applications last year halfway through because you didn't take the MCAT?

What is your BCPM?

Advice on your GPA? The only thing you can really do is take some more classes to bring it up. If that's not possible, look at schools whose GPA average is similar to yours.

You'll also need to rock the MCAT to compensatefor the GPA. I'm also confused about how you applied without the MCAT...

this is a confusing thread...

OP seems to either be avoiding reporting a low MCAT from last year, or withdrew last year due to lack of mcat.
