Alright, I'll be blunt I'm going to try my hardest to not make this a "what are my chances" type thread.

When I was applying to college two years ago, I was almost fully committed on going to cal poly slo, however due to financial reasons I had to decline my admission and went to CSUF instead. As an ignorant freshman at the time, I forgot to follow up on cancellation of dorming agreements and registration at cal poly slo and this is how i got ****ED. However, I was not aware of this until midway of my first college semester at CSUF. I quickly realized that i had to pay part of my dorming fees because i signed a contract. (Yes i know it was all my fault...) then spring comes and i decided to check my cal poly slo account and realized that I was self-enrolled 4 classes at slo during the fall. For some strange reason, I was given credit to two classes(pass/no pass type classes) , but it also said i failed two classes(F's). The first class being some business law class, and the second one was a business calc class. Ever since then, this stain on my application has been driving me crazy, and my question is to you guys is there anything I can do or am I just screwed?

Ever since this incident, I've tried my best to get good grades and overshadow this stain on my application. I also decided to take up a minor in business to show that I'm capable of doing well in business classes as well.

I'm a second year and currently majoring in biochemistry.
My prereq grades are as follow:
Gen chem I,II +Lab = A
Cell bio+lab= A
Ochem part I =A-
Physics I + lab = A
Genetics/Molecularbio+lab= IP (in process)
Physics II+lab = IP
Ochem part II+lab(2 unit lab)= IP
Cal I,II= A
English I=A
English (upper div writing) = A-

I also have straight A's in all my ge's except philosophy where I have a B.
total gpa at CSUF= 3.90

I'm pretty sure the administration can't sign you up for classes that you didn't register for personally. Talk to them about throwing those classes out.

Yeah, I've tried calling them, but no dice. I'm going to try making an appointment with the Dean and driving up there after my semester ends. Technically, they're allowed to because all first time freshmens at slo are automatically given classes.

Good luck with that! I don't think any of us would ever say that you are "just screwed", as you put it. Your record is your record, and I do see a lot of positives in it. I think I saw other threads that addressed the question of how to best manage with a bad grade on your record. You may want to check those out.
