Edit: AADSAS says they cannot removed any processed evaluations. I am at my limit (4) in evaluations. I really don't know what to do at this point. I have 4 letters of evaluations submitted but I believe only one of them qualifies as a science professor whose class I actually participated in. What should I do? Should I try to send the other (5th) letter of evaluation in separately to each dental school directly, this letter would be the second one from a science professor? Help?

I didn't do enough research into the admissions process and assumed a professor who oversaw research experience could produce an adequate letter on the "science letter of recs". After looking around, it seems this would be an huge issue because schools want letters from a graded science course. I wasn't receiving credit for this research so I assume this could be a big issue and this letter might be invalid in a lot of school's eyes? I wanted to apply tomorrow, as in send everything in but now I feel like I need to wait for another letter to come in from a different science professor as well as scrap my research advisor letter. What should I do in this situation? Bite the bullet and wait for the letter? I would probably get the other more legitimate letter within the week but now I am feeling really bad and nervous about the lateness of my application.

You are allowed 4 LOEs on aadsas. This means 2 science professors (lecture setting would be safest), and dentist, and anyone else you want. If I were you I would keep the research professor's LOE, especially if you know it was written well and with pride.

In terms of LOEs though, most schools will not review your application until all of them are in. If they aren't in they won't consider it complete and won't review it. So if I were you I would definitely e-submit so that your GPA calculation is done by this Friday, which is when the next batch will be mailed out. Then have a science professor whom's class you've taken, send it into aadsas ASAP. If that professor can send it in this week I believe there's a chance it will be mailed out with it. Otherwise aadsas will notify you when they mail out the last LOE.

Wish you the best of luck... hopefully I was helpful and not just rambling on.

Ok. I called AADSAS and they are saying there is no way to swap one letter out for another once they have been processed. How can this be the case? I haven't even e-submitted my application. Any help?

Edit: Well a different representative believes I just need to have my professor contact them to "reopen" the letter which will allow me to swap it out for another letter.

Worst case scenario you have the evaluators mail out the letters of rec. Remember to provide envelopes with the addresses and postage.
