1st post, so please bear with me; current junior, overall GPA 3.8; science 3.9; planning on taking MCAT early/mid 2017, just beginning prep; feel like I'm pretty strong in sciences, wondering how others have approached CARS component (seems like this will be my most challenging area)...
 
I'm a little bit biased because I didn't have too much difficulty with cars. I didn't read the prep book save for the chapter on highlighting. I just read dense non-science writing a lot for fun. Maybe try and pick up some philosophy books or history of medicine books and just get used to reading that type of writing.
