Howdy all,

So I'm an M2 right now that's starting to feel some heat. I haven't really been studying for Step 1, I've just been focusing on doing my questions. A lot of my classmates are freaking out about Firecracker or Qbanks or Pathoma or blah blah blah.

My question: should I be studying for Step 1 now? I have the First Aid book but I haven't really done anything with it yet.

I don't really know too many upperclassmen in my school so I don't really know who to ask these questions to...I just want to make sure I'm not going to fall behind. :scared:

I would do Pathoma with your studies. It helped me during classes and will be a review when your dedicated period starts. I feel like studying FA early is hit or miss. It might help with your classes or it might not, depends on how closely your school is aiming for step 1 prep. Most people start studying sometime after winter break.

Agree with the above. I felt FA was useless until I took most major courses to allow me to make some connections. Just do well in your classes for now
