😱 Alright, I need opinions on what my chances are...what I should do to get in...and what are some schools I might could get into....

Here's my situation..I have a 3.15 GPA (which sucks) and I'm about to graduate in the spring w/ my BS in biology. I wanna apply to pharmacy school next fall, but I'm afraid my GPA will keep me out. A lot of my pre-req classes are Cs (B's in bio I/II, B's in physicsI/II, C's in Chem I/II, C in calc, I'll be taking Organic I/II in the spring and summer, B in anatomy). I got an 85 on my PCAT. Plus I have pharmacy experience, i've studied abroad, had a health science internship, done summer research and done tons of community service.

What do you guys think?
If I make B's in orgI and II do I have a chance? I can take more classes in the summer to bring up my GPA (and the fall too, but I plan to apply in August, so will they even see those grades?) What additional classes should I take?

I know it's hard to say, but give me your opinion on what my chances are...

Try really hard to get A's in orgo. They want to see you getting good grades in hard classes, not getting good grades in grade "fluffer" classes.

If you can show you can do well in hard classes thats what they want to see, they don't care much about your other grades other than they show a bit of dedication and good work ethic.

I can almost guarantee you admissions into a top choice if you get A's in both o-chem classes. That should boost you into the 3.2x range, 85 PCAT score, well rounded student, and a huge upward trend.

I'm serious. Get A's in o-chem I and II and I GUARANTEE YOU ADMISSIONS!

wow,a guarantee. you work for the admissions committee?

First...BREATHE. I think you have a shot at an interview depending on where you apply. In your PS, sell yourself. Don't make lame excuses for bad grades but still convince the adcom you'll be a great pharmacist.
