Advice - Too late to add schools?

Hey guys,

I was thinking of adding some schools right now. Assuming my AMCAS gettings processed reasonably quickly by these schools, and I turn in secondaries before the end of the month, is it still worth my time/money applying to more schools this late in the cycle?

How many did you already apply to? If you applied to over 15 schools with at least 1/2 being reasonable...then I would not apply to anymore. Interview season is rough. If you are just applying because you are starting to get worried...remember that most schools interview until March. There is still time and a lot of interview offers and acceptances to be had!!! If you want to apply to more because you found a few more schools that you ABSOLUTELY want to go to...then definitely apply!!!! If the schools are just last ditch efforts and you would go to all of your original schools before them....then don't waste your money. Applications are expensive and there is still a lot of time for your other schools to offer you interviews and acceptances. Just hold tight and stay patient!!!

i agree with the previous post. don't apply more schools b/c of being worried that you're not getting any interview invites. if you've applied to reasonable number of schools that you researched and you're confident of gaining admission at the beginning of the cycle, you should be fine 🙂
