Advice... what are my chances?

Hey,

I'm applying to optometry school for fall 2010. I am applying to 8 schools (UAB, ICO, IU, OSU, NOVA, SCO, UMSL & NECO) hoping to higher my chances of getting an interview.

My overall GPA is a 3.5 and my science GPA is a 3.3.

I took my OAT a few weeks ago and here are my scores:
QR: 300
RC: 310
Bio: 320
GChem: 340
OChem: 340
Physics: 290... bombed it
TS: 320
AA: 320

Do you think I should retake my OAT in January? And do I have any hope at getting an interview?

I know some schools do screen out certain scores and many prefer no schools below like 300 or 320 (check schools specficially). If you think you can retake and do much better than go for it. Even a slight increase should get you more interviews. But anyways i would assume that you WILL get interviews this application cycle at the very least. Your GPA looks fine, just try to see if you can get the OATs up. Over a 320, 330 in every section should get you in to atleast one of the schools you applied.
