I got three interviews lining up for DMU, Temple and Scholl. Any advices guys? what is the nicest campus and what school have to the smallest class size?

I believe the smallest class size is DMU. As for the nicest campus you'll have to be the judge of that.

Glad to see that you are thinking hard about this most important decision...

I think that the most important decision next to "do I really want to be a podiatrist," is where should I go to school to be the best one I can be.

Really EVALUATE the schools

ask

1. What hours are you in school
You NEED study time.... If the schedule limits it, in my opinion, you're going to be disadvantaged.

There is so much information that you will have to master and you need time to really learn it.... not for the grades, but FOR YOURSELF.

Don't let the schools blow you off on this one. IT'S YOUR EDUCATION! You deserve to know what you're getting for the $.

2-3 hours of study time for each 1 hour of lecture. I wouldn't recommend it any other way.

You're training to be podiatrists, doctors, TRAIN like one!!!!!

Hey Whiskers,

Lately you have been giving good advice and encouragement to some of the new SDN PODS. Also, I respect your input about cleaning feet. This shows a lot of integrity and humanity.

Thanks

I think that study time is important the amount of time is based on one's ability to grasp the material. If you set an amount of time you need study it is easy for one to under or over study.

It is important to be involved at your school. Always leave things better than you found them. Join a club, become a club officer, do some research, whatever it takes for you to find something other than school. You need to be a complete person.

It is important to learn the medicine, but you need to take care of yourself too.

Whiskers, are you ever going to post any info on your school or year? Frankly, I think you need to be honest w/ your colleagues. If you can't be honest about your education, than how can we know that you are honest about your opinions? As far as we know you don't go to any Pod school and you just pretend to by a med student.
