I was instructed by a number of dental schools that I should take some upper level science courses this fall in order to make my bcp gpa more competitive (~2.7 right now).
So, my plan is to take a some courses at a credible 4 year university that is about 30 minutes away from where I live. However, every class that I was told to take is available as a distance education course. They are:
Advanced Human Metabolism (500 level course)
Biological Statistics (500 level course)
Microbiology (300 level course)
Genetics ( 300 level course)
This is a total of 12 hours. Now, these exact same classes are offered in the traditional classroom as well and will appear on my transcript as the exact same. Basically, is taking these all online a smart option? Thanks.
I'm also considering switching Microbiology for Animal Science .Thoughts?
