My school is pressuring us to meet with our faculty advisors about our rank lists. The thing is, I've checked in with mine a few times to get their thoughts on this or that program, and asked my actual advisor for thoughts on the list of interviews I'm keeping just to make sure it wasn't too heavily-weighted toward the reaches. My ROL is pretty well-established in my head and I don't really have questions, per se… should I?

Can't hurt you, especially since you're trying to stay at their program...

If they ask you to meet with an adviser, then do that. You never know, maybe it will help. if not, you've wasted 30 minutes of your life. If catastrophe strikes and you don't match, you don't want to show up and have the adviser say "I wish you had talked to me..." You will end up doing lots of things that are clearly not very useful, yet mandated by your employer. They start in orientation. Just do it.
