How did your VCU interview go?

I am not aware of any at this moment. You can check the programs that did not fill at the end of the match... they still may have opening. Additional openings always happen near July 1.

Problem with some programs is that GME funding may not be available for foreign students

I have heard that the University of Rochester renders a good AEGD program for Foreign dentists. Not sure about the availability of seats though!

Hope this helps
Good luc

i called rochester already, all spots r filled for the year, if anyone knows of any AEGD/GPR/MPH or any other residency program open anywhere for this year, please tell me, i am trying so hard, callnig everywhere, but no positive reply, please help, thanks

Yes. This program is full for this year, as I am a resident graduating on July 1, 2006. So 2 months to go.

However, I am a GME student and I graduated from an accrediated Dental School. The AEGD program takes 8 GME yearly.

There is an international program also which accepts 8-10 students a year. This program is a certificate program which allows licensure and allows a student to sit for the NERB exam. There is no tution for this program, which makes it next to impossible to get admitted. The program is 25 months in duration.

Side note: this program is probably the top one in North America....as I have spoken to many residents in other universities... and they dont do half of the stuff we have done...eg. esthetics, extractions, restorative.

Good Luck
