If your ultimate goal is to enter OMFS residency program which one would you choose to do HPSP with? In other words, if you have high enough scores, which one of these two is more likely to pick you as their resident? ( spots,need,...).
Thanks

I would think both are good really. However, I would think the Navy would have more cases and serve a larger population as well as have more opportunities. The Air Force has filled out there scholarships for years now. So there may be more competition for AF slots. The Navy on the other hand is a bigger branch and has had more trouble filling all their scholarships in past years. I would think this would lead to more opportunities and exposure as a OMFS. I would think Navy has a slight edge for this reason, but it's purely speculation on my part. IMO, both services are probably good for this purpose and would come down to personal preference.
