I'm looking to apply in July and I was wondering what are some in-state schools that offer in-state tuition after 1st year. I heard Maryland and Stony Brook offer in-state tuition after 1st year. Any other schools?

Buffalo, UCSF, UCLA (Although the UCs are still somewhat pricey even with in state after year one). Conversely, Michigan doesn't offer that, but is relatively affordable even for OOS

Wait. Seriously? This thing exist? That's amazing. I didn't know you can obtain state residency in just one year. I know that there are third years at my UC who are still paying out of state tuition for undergrad; so do dental schools somehow work differently?

It is nearly impossible as a dependent undergrad if parents live in another state. You are considered independent during dental school making the above possible.

Oh okay. That makes so much sense. Thanks. Guess I should start filing my own taxes then!

Bump. OHSU and Indiana maybe?
