After accepting an offer, do I need to take any steps through AMCAS?

Hello everyone,

After receiving a med school acceptance, do I need to take any additional steps through AMCAS in order to confirm my acceptance? So far, I have been following all of the instructions that were given to me by my program's admissions office. But, I just want to make sure I am following all of AMCAS's protocol as well in regard to acceptances. For example, I received an email from AMCAS about the "choose your medical school tool". Is this an optional tool to use?

Yep. Open your amcas app and the tool appears there.

The "tool" is an accessory to that communication, not a replacement for it.
