Hey buddies, I posted this thread last night, but for some reason, I couldn't find it this morning. I must not have hit submit or something...

I'm very close to finishing up AADSAS right now (I'm very excited), and application should be out by MON/TUE. I'll only be waiting for LOR's and Transcript to arrive!

For you early birds, that have allready submit your AADSAS application, what is the next step? Is there a next step?

I was hoping after AADSAS is complete, I could focus 100% on my DAT, without worrying about anything else, but I'm not so sure now...

Do we need to send things out to each school (like passport photo, etc.) or do we wait for specific forms to be sent by the schools? And is this the 'secondary application'?

If there is another step to take after applying through AADSAS, then how tedious is it, relative to the AADSAS process? I ask because I want to focus more on the DAT (need to score in 20's)

If just one person could explain 'what's next', then I'd appreciate it very much!

Thanks, and I hope this thread doesn't mysteriously disappear :scared: !

I think the biggest thing after you submit everything is to just wait. Although you probably want to check the dental school supplemental information section under instructions to see if the schools that you are applying to want anything else. But for the most part they don't ask for any extra forms or money until they contact you. Also it takes forever for AAdsas to get mailed out so don't be surprised if you find yourself waiting for another month before the dental schools even see your application. I submitted my app June 1st and they had my transcripts may 31st and my grades still have not bee calculated and it says it takes up to two weeks after they calculate your GPA to mail your app.

Has anyone had there apps mailed yet?

check the aadsas sheet on the supplemental application fees, see which one requires it once aadsas is submitted. submit those. then wait around.. i wold try to focus on the DAT as much as possible tho.. bad dat means no review of application practically.
