Out of curiosity, what is the typical course after completing a fellowship? Do you just join in-house cardio as an attending, or does one usually need to do signficant job-hunt prior to the end of fellowship?

I don't see why it's an issue for me to ask about how things operate currently, but thank you for your response.

Because things are going to be different then and you will probably want to do a different specialty by then.
