I am doing Kaplan QBank for Step 1, is it necessary for me to do UWorld?

I think yes, although maybe not best one to answer this but from previous exam takers,UW is an absolutely important qbank.

What kind of a question is this? Yes. UWorld is your best resource by far for USMLE. Kaplan can't even begin to compare.
