How long did it take to hear from Mayo after you completed the phone interview? Either rejection or interview invite... Thanks!

about 10 days post phone call. i had already had my letters sent in around the time of the phone interview so they didn't have to wait for that. the onsite interview is long but a lot of fun. very personalized. good luck!

Has anyone heard anything from Mayo post-interview besides the e-mail saying that your rank has been determined by the committee? If so, how and when were you notified? Thanks!

I heard about 5 days after the phone interview. Like loomis i had all my lor's, etc. in so maybe that explains the quick turnaround.

p.s. the interview invite comes via e-mail, but if it's a rejection it comes by snail mail. so check your email! 🙂

For those of you that have had your phone interviews already, where the questions asked similar to those given in the interview feedback section? I hear they ask standardized questions, so should I expect the same ones? Thanks

Yeah, they were pretty much the same for me. If I remember, there are 24-26 standard questions.

that phone interview was one of my most grueling interview experiences to date. sdn saved my butt on that one...by reading up on the website i had a chance to think ahead and prepare. mine lasted about 45 minutes and was exhausting - i was pacing up and down throughout the whole interview and when it was finished, i felt as though i'd walked ten miles 🙂

how long after the onsite interview are you supposed to hear about acceptances? how does this ranking thing work?

i did my phone thing about a week and a half ago, hope i hear soon. do you get to choose a date or are you assigned one for the onsite?
