I like it for new patients especially. Something like an MBB f/u I don’t bother. My MAs serve as scribes (and procedure room techs) so it’s not really an extra employee with my workflow. That said, I’ve liked it a lot because it does a generally good job of picking up details. It takes me maybe 1 minute to proofread and edit the output. Then I click copy all, then paste it into the HPI, delete the header and physical exam section (usually my scribe has entered that as I’m doing it, so I don’t have to speak all my findings aloud to the device), then cut the assessment and plan and paste it into that section. Probably 2-3 minutes total depending on how much editing I had to do, and the note is done.
