Air coming from front side of the surgical handpiece

Just want to confirm whether it is normal to feel some air coming from the front side of the air driven rear venting surgical handpiece, still with most part of air venting from rear? Thanks.

Is air leaking around the threaded coupling? If so check the gasket. It may be dried out, cracked or missing.
