Has anybody heard from Alabama State at all?

I applied there and I haven't heard anything since then. I'm not sure what is going on.

Nope. Last correspondence was in December when they confirmed they had the application. They're notoriously bad at communication. I don't think it shines a good light on their program, no matter how good it may be once you're in.

Yes they definitely need to get better with the communication. I know it's usually a waiting game with them but I had hopes that they would at least have an update by now.

I was in the same boat last year. I'm currently a first year student at ASU. Be patient, I know it's tough! If you haven't gone to the campus and received a tour, I would strongly recommend it. It really does make a difference when it comes down to standing out among other applicants!

How do you like the program?

Honestly, I love it. I got into 3 other programs last year and I chose ASU. I love the really small class size and the fact I know my professors better because of it. Yes, the application process was frustrating because of how long I had to wait (I think right before I got the call from ASU I was planning on attending UTHSC in Memphis). BUT I truly do love attending PT school here. And you get to know the people in the OT and P&O track very well!

Has anyone emailed ASU to inquire about their application? Or is everyone just waiting until they reach out to us?

It sucks because I have a feeling I'd love it too. But I can't go for a visit right now because of my schedule and I live all the way in Maryland. I wanted to include their program in my decision but it's taking too long and I'm going to commit to another school. I've actually applied before and I was not accepted so I was hoping it was a yes this time.

I called but I haven't emailed anytime recently. Last couple times I emailed, I never got a response.

Has anybody heard if friends or anybody for that matter being accepted this cycle yet?

I emailed ASU yesterday and they responded today saying they have reviewed applications and they are currently in the admissions process. They also said they are hopeful to have decisions and notifications out no later than late April. Not much information but at least it gives us a time frame!

It's Spring Break right now for us. I'm sure you won't be hearing anything for the rest of this week.

If last years thread is any indication some applicants should hear something sometime this week? Did anybody hear anything yesterday or today or know of anybody hearing anything?

Has anybody on here heard of friends getting accepted or admissions still reviewing apps?

Hello!

What was your overall gpa and pre-req gpa? Also, GRE scores. I apply next year but I'm getting a little nervous because I have a few C's and I'm afraid that won't be good enough compared to other students.

Has anybody heard anything? They said they would let us know something by the end of April and Monday is May 1st?

My overall was a 3.4. My pGPA was much higher (biology major). Do you have any Cs for prerequisites? If you do, and if possible, I would recommend retaking those courses. I made a C in Cal 1 but it wasn't a prerequisite. I made a 300 on the GRE and didn't study. I don't recommend that hah, studying would be very helpful!

I was denied acceptance today. Hope everybody got notified by now!

Is there a way to connect with the other applicants who got accepted also?
