anyone that goes to albany med or is familiar with the city :

what is there to do there, if i have a day to spend before my interview? I'm flying in on a wednesday morning, and i have the whole day until 7:30 pm, when we meet our student hosts.....so yeah, does anyone know if there's anything worth seeing/doing around the school?

ok, there actually is a little more to do in albany besides drink (although, admittedly, not much). if that's your game, try south pearl st downtown (jillians and the big house are two of the larger places). if the weather is nice, washington park is just down the street from the school, down new scotland. it's just a park, but a nice park. and check out lark street, about a 10 minute walk from the hospital. "the villiage in the city," i think they call it. and bombers burritos on lark is not to be missed. really. it's the best thing albany has going for it.
feel free to PM me for other suggestions...

The night before my interview at Albany my waitress asked if I would like to go out for a drink with her after her shift. I was pretty tempted, 😉 but I told her that my girlfriend probably wouldn’t approve. 😎

Check out DiCarlo's. It is nice. 👍
