For the "If selected for an interview, what one life experience would you most like to talk about? " essay question

i just was wondering if i said a high school experience that would be bad.

The general consensus is that mentioning high school stuff in medical school admissions is not advantageous. It was (at least) four years ago.

That said, if it was an experience that profoundly influenced you and continues to do so today, you could mention it as one of those "turning point" type moments. As a rule, though, it's probably a good idea to stick to recent (read: college age) experiences.
