So check this out. I applied to Albany through PharmCAS, but decided not to continue the application process with them by not sending in my $100 dollar supplement fees. This was about 3 monthes ago. Since then, they send me 3 emails stating that they are " genuinely interested in my application" and want me to send in the $100 fees. This morning, they actually call me 8 am eastern time to remind me I have not pay my $100 fee while Im sleeping in California. Now Im wondering, how " genuinely interested" are they for my application. or my money. what u you guys think?

I did the same thing as you, and Albany sent me the same email. I'm wondering if it's genuine, too, or if they just want the money. Since the fee to this school is already included in my budget, I went ahead and sent the money anyway. Also, I sent the money b/c I didn't want to be left wondering "what would have happened."

What do you plan on doing?

I really don't know. Before they call me, I made up my mind not to pay already. But they call me this morning. It made me start thinking about it. I guess I'll wait and see if i can get some advices from here.

my opinion on the matter depends on what type of applicant you are

Well if you got accepted to Albany and no where else, would you go there? You have to consider the fact that you've already paid the marginal fee acquired by PharmCas. In the grand scheme, $100 isn't that much. But I know how it can be with the tight budget thing!
