Does anyone know what form of communication AECOM will contact applicants on Jan. 15th?

Also, will they be sending acceptances/rejections/waitlists at this time??

How do you know that they are sending out decisions Jan. 15th?

It was mentioned several times at the interview and on SDN.

I'm interviewing on the 16th...does that mean I am interviewing for a waitlist spot??

Muff, I submitted my secondary to Albert Einstein back in late August and have not heard anything. When did you submit your secondary? Thanks.

According to my poorly kept records: I sent my app through snail mail on October 11th and was complete November 4th

No, they haven't sent out any acceptances yet, so it's just their first batch. I believe they told us they're interviewing through April... so no worries.

Haha Yes, this way it is immediate gratification(HOPEFULLY!)

Also, does anyone know if in past years it was on January 15th exactly, maybe a few days before perhaps?

According to last year's Wall of Fame, acceptances came via snail mail in a thin envelope. Some received their acceptances on 1/14.

When did you everyone interview? I interviewed on 10/11.

mid-september!! ages ago!

anyone who got interviews at AECOM care to post stats? how much tougher is it OOS?

I was complete at AECOM mid-September, Interview invite mid-October, Interviewed on November 22.

Stats: I.S., 33M, 3.98 overall, 4.0 BCMP, lots of clinical experience, TA, summer jobs related to the sciences and last but not least... Jewish... supposedly that's big.

Hopefully I get in!

I'm an OOS applicant with avg stats, lots of clinical experience, interest in urban health/social medicine, and unique and extensive jobs and EC's. And i'm not religious.

OOS, 3.7 BCPM, 3.85 grad, 33R, lots of community health and research experience

what did u guys think of einstein?

i got the impression that the students were more stressed than they were trying to present themselves - but that may have just been because i visited right after an exam

also the general neighborhood wasnt all that impressive

but my host was saying that einstein was respected as much or even more than schools like columbia in new york residencies

Great school. I really like the the apartments. I can definitely see myself going there. Montefiore hospital was really nice. Shuttles were fast. Also being as I went to high school in the Bronx and had friends from various parts of the Bronx I would have to say the area around Einstein wasn't too shabby. It definitely seemed safe and livable. You really can't beat 350 bucks a month apartments that includes everything. 👍 👍

man same here....after my acceptances at my DO schools, its been DOWNNNNN hill, all rejections so far, but i still have to hear from half of them. WHAT is taking them SO long, ive been complete almost everywhere since september, end of sept the latest. I understand i have below average stats, so atleast reject me so that i know  👎

Might depend on when you interviewed. Back in late October when I was there, I was told by my interviewer, and I quote, "You won't hear from us until January"

Vague enough? 🙄

well it says on the website that the first batch of acceptances go out january 15th... which is MLK day.. so i wonder how that's gonna work out.. either earlier or later?

i interviewed mid-november

I hope not, I really wanted an interview here 🙁

someone got snail mail rejected today... they posted it on another thread... so I guess something was sent out, maybe yesterday? or thursday? guess it may have been the 12th again this year... now i'm holding my breath...

I received my acceptance to Einstein today by snail mail. The letter was actually dated January 15th. Good luck to you all!!!!

I live in NYC, so it will probably take a bit longer for snail mail to reach you on the West Coast. Good luck!!

was it a big or small envelope?

anyone else afraid to check the mail tomorrow? :scared:

me.... i don't know.... been waiting since oct. :scared:

so does anybody know - is this just like one big ass batch all at once or are they going to send letters for a while?

i'm waiting too, but i'm on the west coast. not sure if a letter should come today or tomorrow. good luck, everyone!!

I'm in MI. My husband is starting to get annoyed with me-I've called twice to see if he's gotten the mail yet

I'm expecting rejection-they only accept 38% of the people they interview and my stats are below their averages 🙁
