phenomenal school in every sense of the word. plus, smack in the middle of a wealth of NYC opportunities.

phenomenal is a bit too much. a very good school, plenty of research opportunities in basic sciences, in NYC but remote from anything and everything exciting. expensive, but without the benefit of being top-tier in reputation.

Albert Einstein is expensive, but a good school. I lived for a time in the Tremont Section of The Bronx (where the school is located), and it is a bit of a rough neighborhood. Although the neighborhood is a bit gritty, people pretty much tend to themselves and crime is not as bad as you might think. On the plus side it does have great clinical exposure due to its location.
