neat little gadget for 12 lead ekg, i inquired with the sales rep and he told me it cost $2,295.00

not sure if it is "worth it" since we have access to all this stuff as basic anesthesia monitors already

thoughtS?

Depends on how badly you want to cancel a case.

Will it go into the EMR easily? Will the facility lose a fee for recording and interpretation that they care about? If it moves cases along not having to wait for a nurse or EKG tech to come do it...maybe? Who would pay for it and take care of it? Looks like something a house keeper would just throw away or some student would steal.

Looks like a tele box which we don’t lose often.

I wonder how it obtains the precordial leads without as many physical leads. I thought that the “V” leads (precordial V and limb V) all used a central simulated lead a physical lead.

Realistically never going to see this thing probably so not motivated to research it.

My guess is gonna be AI something or other to be able to simulate the precordial leads. And the next question is, how accurate is that simulation.
