Hi everyone, quick question to those who is not a US citizen nor has the residency from any of the states..
I am not a dental student YET, but will be this coming summer as I just got a call from NOVA and was told that I got accepted.
Since I'm an international student (no citizenship, no residency, the only thing i have is a SSN#) I was wondering how all the international students currently attending a dental school is dealing with getting loans.
What I only heard of is getting it from a private lender (i.e. citibank) when two people with US citizenship is willing to co-sign on the contract form.
BUT, I WANT TO KNOW EVERY POSSIBLE WAY OF GETTING LOANS FOR AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND IT WOULD BE GREAT IF ANYONE WHO IS FAMILIAR WITH THIS PROBLEM LET ME KNOW.

To my knowledge you need only 1 citizen/ permanent resident cosigner.
Sallie mae is another option.
