I have ben told that all med schools in the US are the basically the same because fo the need to be accredited by a certain licensing body
(LSME i think).
then lookin in Barron's guide to med and dental schools i was surprised to find a med school in DC, Howard Med school in which the avg MCAT for the 2002-2003 class was only 24.7 and avg gpa only 3.0
I haven't yet found other schools with such weak requirements, is this the only anomaly because its a historically african american school or are there other schools like this?

It is. Except at harvard 50% of the class is gaurenteed an A. At NYU it's 30%. At a community college it's limited to less than 5%. The actual math is impartial. If I had my choice I'd take it at Harvard.
