Hi guys,

I'm on SDN today after few years. I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I'm unable to find any recent posts (in a year or two) that would answer this question. I'm a DO resident at a DO program. I wish to apply for cardiology fellowship. I know it's considered a pretty competitive fellowship to get into. However, from your experience or knowledge, are there any allopathic fellowship that accepts DO residents from DO programs with only comlex scores. I would appreciate if someone can help. Thanks.

University of iowa comes to mind.. Decent program. does n't get ranked among the top 25 programs (or whatever that means).. Nice people in the middle of corn fields; not a very high volume center from what I remember.

DO residents from DO programs? That's gonna be tough.

I have seen allo programs with DO residents, but these virtually always were ACGME-trained DOs.
