Alternate List at BU

Just got a letter from BU stating that I am on the alternate list....does anyone know how big this list is?Do I still have a reasonable chance of getting in?

interviewed on 2-13 and found out by mail today....its weird cause lots of kids with worse stats got in and my interview went really well, Do they number the waitlist people or all we all reconsidered once they need to fill a spot?

is it a good idea to call and ask your status if you havent heard from them yet?

i interviewed a couple weeks ago too, and am dying to hear..🙁

Yeah, give them a call. Somewhere on this forum I read that a prospective called about his status and BU told them that he got in. They're really nice people, I won't hurt to ask them. I hope you get in!

i interviewed 2/20 and got my alternate list letter today...
i wonder if i really have a chance or not, this is such a tease...

i got waitlisted at nyu as well, but i pretty much gave up all hope on nyu since i read somewhere on sdn that 200+ people are currently on the nyu waitlist. and my stats aren't very high to begin with 🙁

Anyone else on the alternate list at BU in the last little while? I wonder how many there are? Does anyone know when someone could potentially move off the alternate list? Is this possible only when they finish all of their interviews or can it happen before?

Some random folks in my class were accepted last year after being on the alternate list at BU for what seemed like months.
