Alternative suggestions for Kaplan vs...????

So Kaplan was nice because it had a great review of the material but other than that I have not benefitted from it in the test taking category. Their practice exams are absurd and a waist of time due to the inflated grading scale..

Please, could someone please list suggestions of other courses that would be more beneficial in actually learning how to take the test?

You can buy old tests directly from AMCAS for only $16 a piece. I would recommend those. Kaplan is useful just to get used to the speed and rhythm of taking the MCAT. But yeah, if you've already done a full Kaplan review course, I suggest taking the old AMCAS MCATs. That and just review your Kaplan notes.
