I recently graduated from undergrad and am volunteering to be an alum interviewer for prospective students. Is this something I can put on my med school application?

Yes, I would list it as nonclinical/nonmedical volunteering.

so volunteering doesn't have to mean community service/ doing something to benefit the community?

Any sort of volunteering works. Usually separated into clinical and non-clinical, that's all.

Yes, mention it on your application.
It shows that you maintain your connections to your alma mater, and I wouldn't be surprised if a medical school would make an assumption that when you have graduated from their program that you will continue to maintain a relationship with the medical school, either as a volunteer member of the ADCOM or by maintaining a board position on the alumni association board, etc.

You can certainly include it if you do not have enough activities to fill all your slots, however I don't expect it to impress anyone. If you have anything else that is at all more interesting, I would include that instead.

I agree and would add that often people will lump volunteer activities together unless they are pretty significant, long term commitments.
