I have one interview invitation to the school on the bottom of my list. I really feel like I would have a better chance next cycle if I applied earlier. Am I crazy to wait a year and reapply?

I would attend, interview my pants off, and hope for the best. If you don't think you'll be happy at that school, sure, wait. But next time, don't apply to schools you won't be happy at.

lol I try to stay reserved when it comes to the serious questions, but this time I really agree.
So many people would kill just to get that interview. You're lucky enough to have it, and you're considering not even going. You haven't even been rejected, and you're already considering waiting out a year? So you can go to a "better" school? Just get in to A school. What happens if you wait a year, and still don't get in to any of those "better" schools? The school you don't even interview at this year is going to love to know WHY you wouldn't interview with them the previous year.
You have to realize that medical school application is a very difficult process, and for many on SDN with a realist perspectives this post is basically offensive. Many will never be able to get even an interview at the worst of places. Either way whether you like the school or not is very unimportant at this point at least.
