I'm 17 and start classes at my local community college on Aug. 25th. And first off i just want to say I'm i have close to no clue on college so I'll tell you what I know so far.

I plan on doing 2years of cc then apply for UF
im taking all the classes in the pre pharmacy list

so is there anything else i should be doing like volunteering at a pharmacist?

or should i wait on that till like a year before i start that

(im sorry if i sound like a complete idiot, im the only one in my family to grad highschool so i have no one else to ask these questions)

UF is pretty much a numbers school, so your first priority is to do well in your pre-pharm courses. Make sure you really learn the material for more than just your in class exams, but also for the pcat. Pharmacy experience is helpful if you can get it, either by volunteering or employment. Try to get some extracuriculars and leadership experiences as soon as you are able. Waiting a few months will unlikely have any bearing on your application, so if you are nervous about jumping right into these activities, wait a semester. 🙂

TY so much for your insight 👍

Don't be afraid to ask questions just because you are a noob. Folks are really nice here and chances are, you'll get great answers to your questions. :luck:
