I only have three, but I think they are decent. I'm just worried because I here people having 5-6+ letters. Anyway here is what I've got.

1. DO alum from my number 1 choice (in state school).
2. Genetics professor/advisor who is an MD/PhD. I also was a tutor for her class so we know eachother well.
3. My schools pre-med committee. I interview next month so I technically don't have this letter yet, but I'm assuming it will go fine.

Some schools want just one letter from your premed committee and a DO, while others want two science, and one non-science, and one from a DO. It depends on the schools you want to apply to.

The ones you seem to be missing are a non-science, and another science letter for those who don't want/use a pre-med committee letter. I'm surprised your pre-med committee even offered to write you a letter after you've only given them just a letter from a genetics professor. At my undergrad, a committee letter and interview would not have been granted unless you have 5 letters of recommendation. (2 have to be from a science professor, 1 non-science, and the other two can be miscellaneous- research, work supervisor, etc.)

Anyways, just look at each of the schools' LOR requirements from their website. All this information can easily be found.

My school is different. I just submit my MCAT score and GPA and they set up three interviews. One with a professor I know, one that I don't know, then the committee interview. They don't require any LOR.

I've looked at like 20 different DO schools sites and almost all of them say a committee letter OR 2 science, 1 non-science (if your school doesn't have a committee) and a physician. So technically all I would need is a committee letter and a physician letter for most schools it seems.

You'll be fine for those schools who only want a committee letter and a DO letter.
