Not swine fllu related, but very serious. I have non-science pre-req courses (ENG) that are not from an accredited college (I just found out today the college is not accredited). What the heck do I do?

I already have two interviews (and hopefully more), but I don't know what to do about this: do I take the courses at my current college, or do I contact the colleges I am applying to and tell them my situation. My current accredited college has accepted the ENG courses from the non-accredited college, but I don't know if that means anything.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I would contact the schools you are applying to and see if any of coursework would replace that requirement. If not, then you will have to take it again.

I believe that if an accredited college accepts your ENG courses from the unaccredited school, then you are in good shape. Again, call the schools you are applying to to be sure, but I bet your english requirement will be met/excused.

Not sure but if you have cleared aacomas, and their initial review process then aren't you fine according to med school requirements?

Call the schools and use really big, complicated words. This will demonstrate to them that you are, in fact, fluent in English ... and you will be good.

Wheww, I apologize ... could not help it.

Good advice above. Call and try to weasel other classes into the requirements. Schools are usually pretty cool about this. If not, the worst case scenario is that you take a few easy Eng courses at a CC before you matriculate or fit a few in at your current university. You definitely aren't 'porked.' Keep us updated.
