You don't appear to have learned your lessons. That's a red flag. You're now competing against people who don't them.I am a junior and am planning on applying in next year's cycle. I have a 3.97 GPA and am expecting a pretty competitive MCAT score.
However, I am worried that I screwed myself this weekend. I received a minor in possession of alcohol and a fake ID charge at a football tailgate.
I wouldn't be worried if this was the only blemish on my application; however in August of my freshman year I received an IA for being "visibly under the influence of alcohol" in a dorm room lobby. Again this was not an arrest but simply an IA for which I had to complete an alcohol education class offered by my university.
I'm kicking myself because I now believe that it's going to look like I didn't learn from my initial mistake freshman year. Is there any hope?

Possibly. However, apparently it usually takes a one year probationary period before one may file for expungement; this would be after I had applied.Any way you can get it expunged?
I think its worth waiting a year to have it expungedPossibly. However, apparently it usually takes a one year probationary period before one may file for expungement; this would be after I had applied.
You are right about how it's going to look. I'd assume that wasn't the first time you used that fake ID.I am a junior and am planning on applying in next year's cycle. I have a 3.97 GPA and am expecting a pretty competitive MCAT score.

I agree completely, and am remorseful of my actions. Do you believe this is lethal? You are right about how it's going to look. I'd assume that wasn't the first time you used that fake ID.
I suggest making other plans for the next three years. Then apply. Not lethal, but a major speed bump, IMO.I agree completely, and am remorseful of my actions. Do you believe this is lethal?
I agree with the wise cat.I suggest making other plans for the next three years. Then apply. Not lethal, but a major speed bump, IMO.
The freshman offense was an IA with no legal conviction. For the second offense I did not receive an IA but I was issued two citations from the police. I believe however that my state considers these to be misdemeanors.1) Are you charged with misdemeanor?
OR
2) did you a criminal citation (ie equal to traffic ticket)?
OR
3) did you receive a campus ITA?
Confirmed to be misdemeanors.Find out what they are!!!!
