Hey guys,

I'm going to be writing my OAT mid September so I'm assuming that the score will come out around mid October. I have submitted my transcript grades but I heard that Optocas takes around 1 month also to process everything once I submit. So based on this timeline, I will be applying around mid October.

For someone with an average gpa (3.3-3.4) at a top tier university and assuming an OAT of around 340. Is this terribly late in my cycle? And also is there anything clearly wrong with my timeline?

I am in the same boat as you. I have my OAT scheduled on Sept. 30th. You can submit you application before taking your OAT. I would advise you to submit your application once you are done even if you haven't taken your OAT yet! You may get some invites from some schools but most schools would probably wait until they get your OAT score. But who knows!

I am in the same situation. You get your OAT scores right away on test day and your not late. Late is like March. People have gotten in like February!

last cycle someone with crap scoores got into MCPHS in mid july you just never know how will be accepted (and my crap i mean low for even a new school)

I'm following about the same timeline as you. Planning on taking the OAT mid September and working on everything else right now. So you're not behind at all! Obviously the earlier you apply the better, so keep plugging away!
