Am I supposed to ask my letter writers for their address?

I see that on AMCAS, it asks for the writer's address…is this the university address they are affiliated to or their personal address? I don't know what any of their personal addresses are, and I'm worried that some may not be comfortable giving that information.

Lol I'm actually genuinely confused…some of my friends did ask for their writers' personal addresses and put that in, and my pre-health advisor apparently did not even know that we needed an address on the request form. So that's why I'm unsure. But I guess the answer is university address?
