So am I? I already have LORs b/c I was planning on going to PT school. I was planning on taking the DAT at the end of Sept, is that enough time to study? My sciences are still some what fresh in my mind. I could make a few changes to my personal statement. I've done about 450 hours of volunteering, half of which is medically related. I've shadowed a dentist for ~30 hrs. What do you guys think?

nope, not too late. A month and a half should be enough time to study. Good luck

suggestion: fill out the AADSAS application as soon as possible. If you submit it now, it will be processed and sent out to schools in October. Make sure you do well on your DAT's and for LOR, have them be sent directly to the schools you're applying to. Make sure I submitted my AADSAS app around 8/20 last year and I was able to get some late interviews (December to February). I did get one acceptance from NYU without an interview on 12/1 though.

... provided OP is going to study fulltime for that with little distraction.

Why would you make a major switch last minute?
