So I finally got ahold of my last LOR writer (he agreed to write one a long time ago but has been out of town since May and I haven't been able to get ahold of him) and he said he'd have the letter submitted by the first week of October. Based on how long it's taken for my other letters to be uploaded to Interfolio this means I likely won't be complete until the second or third week of Oct. I have a 32 (12BS/10PS/10VR) MCAT, 3.46 cGPA, and 3.63 sGPA and with the exception of one likely very average LOR, I have very strong LORs. Will being this late have a significant impact on my chances of being accepted or will it be a slight hindrance?

Mild impact at worst, I assume the rest of your materials are already submitted and verified.

Still working on secondary essays, but I should have them done within the next week or so for all DO schools.

You're getting to the point where it could have an impact, but you're far from not being able to get in. Still very competitive.

Some schools you do not need LOR's to be complete at. I hope you didn't wait to verify your app until your LOR's get in.

Yup I agree, based on my research for last year's classes, if you're not complete by around beginning November, you're late (but still a chance for good applicants).

However, some schools will give II's without LORs and once you're given an invite, they expect you send it in before the date. For instance, I know NSU will do this.

I submitted AACOMAS primary around September 1st last year with very similar stats and everything turned out okay. Just be sure to apply broadly if you want to maximize your chances of getting in somewhere.

I submitted my primary on 8/9 and it was released to schools by 8/12. Do any of the following schools offer iis before all LORs are recieved: DMU, CCOM, KCOM, PCOM, UNECOM, KCUMB?

Nope, there's still plenty of time. For DO schools, it's a long cycle.

I think late for DO school is mid-October. You are fine for now.
