Ambiguous Directions

I got these directions from one of the schools I applied to: "Essays must be submitted within 1 week (7 days) of the interview."

I have no idea what this means in my opinion this could mean:

1) get your essay in 1 week before the interview we need to see it before you get here

2) get it here in the week before the interview

3) get it here by the week after the interview by that time the person who interviewed you will have their recommendation done and we need the essays for the admission committee

I'm wondering if anyone here at SDN can help me figure this out.

to qwerty455-did you get an interview invitation? if so i think it means (1) to submit the essay within 1 week before the interview 🙂 but if you didn't get an interview invitation then i think it means (3) to submit the essay within 1 week after the interview 🙂 but as the pervious post mentioned, it might be best to check with the school's official to be on the safe side 👍

Is this for SUNY Upstate? If so, it's due a week before the interview.
