curiousity question, when you all went back to check on your status did you happen to look at the items at the left of the screen where they are check marked and X-d out? i noticed today that the 'certification and transmission' box is not checked. anyone elses like this even though you already submitted and are "active" or "verified"?

I don't think so...well, I sure would hope not anyway. I sent them an email asking about this & will let you know when they write me back. I'm not getting any love from AMCAS either. Maybe we're the red-headed step-children of AMCAS 😛

Wow! They were really quick, BUT......bad news...they messed up my credits and GPA, giving me a GPA that's much higher than what it should be. Thus, I just sent in a request for review and I'm back to the "waiting to be verified" stage. If this stalls my app in any way, i'll be very annoyed.

Did you have odd transcripts or anything? Mine were a little weird (and there were 3 of 'em)... but I didn't think they were THAT wack-a-doo.

I had three also and they were all in before I submitted too. But, I did have one that was "exception pending"-for a study abroad program through my university (the credits showed up on my official transcript for my school here). Doesn't seem that wacky, but hey, what do I know?

i think thats for if you change one of the few things you can, i.e. address - if you alter one of those things you need to resubmit

I submitted on 6/16 and the status of my application has changed from "active" to " verification". It says, "Your application is currently being verified. Allow at least fifteen working days for the verification process. Since many problems are not detectable until the verification process begins, you may still receive notification that your application needs to be corrected, or that additional transcripts have been determined to be required in order to process your application." Is this weird?? I am very nervous

I submitted mine on the evening of the 22nd and just got the email this morning (25th) that everything got processed/verified. Im kind of stunned that everything went so smoothly without a hitch. My GPA was also higher than I had computed so cant complain about that either .

I had 5 transcripts that i sent in early June and my last name starts with a B.

hey scubadoc, hope yours gets processed quickly! to answer your question, my 'certification and transmission' box was also unchecked in the time period that my application was "active". after it became "processed", the box was checked. good luck with your application.

I had the foreign transcript thing too - but I was processed within a week. Maybe its just that you got someone really slow?

I would call them up next week - you don't want to be one of the thousands when the deluge hits.

AMCAS or the USPS has lost one of my transcripts. I mailed my transcript requests out before Memorial Day, submitted electronically on the 5th (I believe) of June, and I might as well have waited until now because they won't look at anything until my transcirpt (which I had re-sent this week) gets there.

I had the same problem with my transcript..... they said to give it 3 weeks.... becaue it takes upto 5 business days to put it online... but I just resent mine too.

Yes, mine said Transcript Exception Pending for about 3,4 days and then it went straight to Processed. I had submitted all my transcripts in May.

It shouldn't be too long now - hopefully by Monday or Tuesday you'll be processed

sure hope so; i had my transcripts in before I submitted as well. it has, however, said trans. excep. pending for about two weeks. i'm going to give it a few more days then call them. i emailed and they said not to worry but it is hard not to when i read others' posts about being processed so quickly. i think if i didn't read sdn i wouldn't care so much because they say it takes 4-6 weeks!

damn straight, i am! i'm hoping, though, that some of mine will be of the "send us a check, you hopeless turd" variety---hell, they're ALL going to ask for $$$$, so i'd like to minimize the time/effort involved. but yeah, i really want to get this show on the road. 👍

Still not verified... but I have three separate transcripts, one of which is foreign. I figure that may have something to do with it?

Finally processed! 6/28/04.

They did make two changes to my grades - adding an AP credit and "Foreign Credit Accepted". Those were two things I didn't think to put in, as they didn't seem like grades... I'm going to assume those changes were responsible for the delay.
